IVR Data Collector

IVR Data Collector is part of Vonage Contact Center's Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. For information about the IVR system, see Interactive Voice Response system.

Using IVR Data Collector, you define where to save information that callers provide (IVR slots). Such information can include the caller's account or identification number or a voice recording of their name and address. Callers provide responses using their voice or telephone keypad, or both. You can collect the following types of data from the caller:

  • Single digit
  • String of digits
  • Audio

Using IVR Data Collector, you can also view the information you obtain. For information about using IVR Data Collector, see Using IVR Data Collector.

IVR data retention

Data collected by the IVR Data Collector is stored for 35 days. After 35 days, the data is permanently deleted from your account.
