Linking your supervisor user with an agent user

Using the new Vonage Contact Center login system, you cannot log in to the VCC Admin Portal as a supervisor and ContactPad as an agent at the same time. To work around this, you can link your supervisor user with an agent. This link results in you automatically logging in to ContactPad as the linked agent when you log in to the VCC Admin Portal as a supervisor. In addition, when linked, you can log in to ContactPad directly (as the agent) using your supervisor login details, automatically logging you in to the VCC Admin Portal.

How do I know if I'm using the 'new Vonage Contact Center login system'?

If your supervisor has informed you that your account has been migrated to a new login system, you are using the new Vonage Contact Center login system.

How do I link my supervisor user with my agent user?

To link your supervisor and agent users, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the VCC Admin Portal as a supervisor. For information about logging in to the VCC Admin Portal, see Logging in to the Vonage Contact Center Admin Portal.
  2. From the homepage, move your mouse pointer over the menu icons on the left of the page.

    In the menu that appears, click ContactPad.
    A new window appears informing that you are logged in as a supervisor.

  3. Click LINK AN AGENT.
    An agent login form appears.

  4. Provide your agent's username and password and click Submit.
    A confirmation page appears.

  5. Read the information carefully and, if you want to continue, click Submit.
    Your supervisor user and agent user are now linked. Click Logout. You can now log in to the VCC Admin Portal and ContactPad using your supervisor login details.

    When you log out of the VCC Admin Portal you will automatically log out of ContactPad at the same time.
    When you log out of ContactPad you will automatically log out of the VCC Admin Portal at the same time.
