Calculating storage requirements
When you configure Advanced Reporting and Statistics, specifically how long you retain statistical data, you will need to know how much storage is used by the data.
How do I calculate my storage requirements?
Use the following formula to calculate how much storage you require for Vonage Agent Summary and Vonage Call Summary records:
(((Average number of daily interactions + Number of agents) * Retention period in days) * 2) KB
Additional storage requirements
Transactions
You must add 4 MB to this total for rolling transaction logs. The package automatically deletes its oldest transaction logs, retaining only the most recent 2000.
Participations
If you enable Advanced Reporting and Statistics to create participation records for every agent participation, you will need 2KB storage for each Participation record. If an average of 3 agents participate in each interaction, you will need an additional 6KB for each interaction.
Example
A Vonage Contact Center account has 50 agents (Number of agents). These agents receive 2000 inbound calls and make 500 outbound calls per day. The retention period for statistical data in Salesforce is 365 days.
The data used by Advanced Reporting and Statistics in Salesforce for this Vonage Contact Center account is (((2500 + 50) * 365) * 2) = 1,861,500 KB (1.86 GB) per year.
