Release notes for version 3.3.5 of Connect (LA candidate)

Requires manual action to update reports, processes and workflows which were using Next_Action__C (disposition code) field from Dial_Entry__c

Depends on ContactWorld in Salesforce - version 2.9.9

Date of release

Summary

Optimised mechanism for refreshing Dial Lists (feature)

Made refreshing a Dial List more efficient, we only update Dial Entries for changed objects.  Additionally, deleted Dial Entries are not kept in recycle bin - they are removed from recycle bin providing that the list refresh process has available resources to do so according to the Salesforce limits around number of DML records (10,000 per transaction).

Support for creating Dial List with more than 9 filters (bug fix)

It's possible to create a Dial List using more than 9 filters in the Dial List builder.

Link Task object with Dial Entry (feature)

Salesforce administrator changes

Created a new lookup field on Task object to Dial Entry.  This enables creating reports and processes based on a Task linked to a Dial Entry.  When introducing this feature we also removed support for the Next_Action__c field on Dial Entry.  Existing reports, processes and workflows which were using that field require a manual update to use the Next_Action__c field on Task. For more information see Upgrading to Connect 3.0.0.

Creating multiple individual Dial Lists for agents

Supervisor changes

Added the option to create multiple Dial Lists for different agents at once, saving time if there is a large team of agents needing Dial Lists with the same settings.  Those Dial Lists contain Dial Entries that represent only objects that the agents own. For more information see Creating multiple individual Dial Lists for agents
