Date of release

Summary

Updated Permission Sets

Salesforce administrator changes

This package includes changes to the ContactWorld Agent, ContactWorld Supervisor and ContactWorld API User permission sets. If you do not use these permission sets in your org, update any custom or cloned permission sets with the following changes:

  • Add Apex Class Access for NVMContactWorld.lib_PackageInfo
  • Add read and edit access for the Metadata field in the Interaction Event object

For further information, see Vonage Contact Center user permission sets.

Adopted Lightning Message Service for communication between ContactPad and Log A Call (Enhancement)

Enabled by default.

Agent changes

To improve the reliability of events sent by ContactPad to update Log A Call, we have adopted Lightning Message Service.

ContactPad sends Log A Call the same events as before, but uses Salesforce's Lightning Message Service API instead of native browser postMessage.

Improved record linking for calls made with the Connect outbound dialler (Bug fix)

Enabled by default, applies to customers who also use Connect.

Agent changes

We've addressed an intermittent issue where calls made with Connect would fail to link to the record associated with the Dial Entry.
