Installing Vonage Contact Center into Salesforce

To use ContactWorld in Salesforce, you must install the software onto the host Salesforce Org.

If you are installing ContactWorld into Salesforce for the first time, you must perform the following tasks:

  1. Check the prerequisites for installing ContactWorld. For a list of prerequisites, see Prerequisites for installing Vonage Contact Center into Salesforce.
  2. Install the latest version of ContactWorld into Salesforce. For information about installing the latest version of ContactWorld into Salesforce, see Installing the latest version of Vonage Contact Center into Salesforce.
  3. Configure basic ContactWorld settings in Salesforce. Follow the steps described in Configuring Vonage Contact Center in Salesforce.
  4. Configure advanced features as required. For information about configuring advanced features, see Configuring Vonage Contact Center in Salesforce (optional tasks).

If you are upgrading an existing installation of ContactWorld in Salesforce, you must perform the following tasks:

  1. Upgrade the existing installation of ContactWorld in Salesforce. For information about upgrading ContactWorld in Salesforce, see Upgrading to the latest version of Vonage Contact Center in Salesforce.
  2. Check your basic ContactWorld settings in Salesforce. Follow the steps described in Configuring Vonage Contact Center in Salesforce.
  3. Configure advanced features as required. For information about configuring advanced features, see Configuring Vonage Contact Center in Salesforce (optional tasks).
