What is the Interactions API?

Vonage Contact Center’s (VCC) Interactions API enables you to perform the following actions:

  • invoke interaction flows through one or more named routes within VCC
  • release interactions that are already in the system
  • register a provider that can be used when routing an interaction

Who is the Interactions API for?

The Interactions API is for interaction plan administrators and developers, and anyone who wants to invoke interaction flows within interaction plans, with or without external parameters; route interactions through configured interaction plans; or release interactions that are already in the system.

Account-level API

This API provides access to an entire account’s data. User-level permissions are not enforced.
