Possible errors when uploading a Dial List

I received an error when I tried to upload my Dial List. What can I do?

When you attempt to upload a CSV file to create a Dial List, you might receive one of the following errors:

  • Sorry, we don't support that format. Please upload the file in UTF-8 format. Please contact your Salesforce Administrator or Vonage Contact Center support for more information.

    UTF-format error
The CSV file that you upload must be in UTF-8 format. To correct this issue, save your CSV file in UTF-8 format.

  • This file exceeds the maximum size limit of 5MB.
    Large file size error
If you see this error, your CSV file is larger than 5MB. To correct this issue, use a smaller file.
  • DML exception

This error appears if the CSV file has too many rows. Due to limits in Salesforce, the maximum size of a Dial List is 9990 call records.

  • Regex too complicated

    Regex error

This error means that, even though the file is not more than 5MB and contains fewer than 9990 rows, the content of your CSV file contains too many characters. To correct this issue, use a smaller file—remove any data that you don't require, or split the file into multiple smaller files.
