1. Go to Setup in Salesforce.
   
2. On the left-hand side of the Salesforce window, in the Build section, expand Customize and then Console.
3. Click Custom Console Components. Custom Console Components appears.
4. Click New.

5. Enter the following information:

6. Click Save.
7. On the left-hand side of the Salesforce window, in the Build section, expand Create.
8. Click Apps. Apps appears.
9. Locate the app you want to add Connect to and click Edit. The app appears in edit mode.
10. Scroll down to Choose Console Components section. Click Connect in the Available Items list, and click Add to move the component to Selected Items.
11. Click Save.
    The new Connect component now appears in your chosen console app.
