Summary

Save note feedback (feature)

When the agent clicks Save Note in the NVM Log a Call action, the button is temporarily disabled and is re-enabled when the notes have been saved. For more information, see Logging a call during the call.

NVM Log a Call action - support for working with multiple browser tabs (feature)

Agent changes

Added support for agents working with multiple browser tabs all of which are loading Salesforce pages with the Contact Pad and NVM Log a Call action. Current behaviour of the NVM Log a Call action:

  • Quick Action panel is automatically refreshed when the call is started
  • the notes and additional fields are automatically saved and the Quick Action panel is refreshed when the call is ended
  • Quick Action panel is automatically refreshed when the agent switches between browser tabs and there were some note changes saved (it's not supported in Internet Explorer 9)
  • if some notes were saved in different browser, the agent is not able to override the note in the NVM Log a Call panel without refreshing it first (the appropriate message is displayed)

Chatter feed toggles (feature)

Added possibility of configuring whether adding notes in the NVM Log a Call Quick Action or adding Callback task should create new entry in the chatter feed. For more information how to configure this, see Posting event messages to the Chatter feed.

Due Date not populated in Task (bug fix)

Fixes a bug where the Due Date field on a Task was not populated with the date of the interaction.

Salesforce administrator changes

Select the Set due date on call task records check box in the custom settings. For more information, see Configuring custom settings for optional Vonage Contact Center features in Salesforce. If you previously created a trigger as a workaround to populate the Due Date field, you can delete or deactivate this trigger.

Query Exception preventing converting a Lead (bug fix)

Fixes a bug where a user may be prevented from converting a Lead due to a Query Exception.
