Deleting interaction content in the Interaction Content Search area removes the actual files along with all related comments and Conversation Analyzer data, if applicable.

Interaction content is also subject to automatic deletion as according to the terms and conditions for your account. For more information, see Data Retention.

How do I delete interaction content?

If enabled for your account, you can delete interaction content files along with any comments and Conversation Analyzer data. To delete interaction content, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Interaction Content Search and optionally filter and sort the results. For information about accessing Interaction Content Search and filtering and sorting the results, see Searching for interaction content.

  2. When you have found the interaction content you want to delete, select the check box in the applicable interactions' rows. Or select the check box in the top-left of the header row to select all displayed interaction content.

  3. Click the Delete selected items icon in the top right corner above the results table. A dialog box appears prompting you to confirm the deletion.

  4. Click OK to delete the selected files or click Cancel to go back to the selection page.

If Vonage Contact Center (VCC) successfully deletes your selected interaction content files, a success message appears.

If VCC cannot delete any of the interaction content files, an error message appears.

Successfully deleted interaction content is removed from the results. To try again, select recordings that VCC couldn't delete and repeat steps 3 and 4. If you continue to see the error, contact support with the interaction GUIDs.

How do I delete interaction content for multiple interactions?

If enabled for your account and you interaction content for multiple interactions, use the Bulk delete feature. You will need the GUIDs for the interactions. Using bulk delete, you can delete interaction content files along with any comments and Conversation Analyzer data without searching for and selecting items to be removed.

To use delete interaction content for multiple interactions, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Interaction Content Search. For information about accessing Interaction Content Search, see Searching for interaction content.
  2. Click Bulk delete in the top right corner above the results table. A dialog box appears.
  3. Type or paste the list of GUIDs of interactions that you want to delete content for. Type each GUID on a new line.
  4. Click Bulk delete interaction content to delete the content of provided interaction GUIDs, or click Cancel to close the Bulk delete interaction content dialog box without further action.

If VCC successfully deletes all interaction content for the specified interactions, a success message appears.

If VCC cannot delete any of the interaction content for the specified interactions, an error message appears. A list of GUIDs for interactions whose content could not be deleted appears. To try again, copy the list of GUIDs and repeat steps 2-4. If you continue to see the error, contact support with the interaction GUIDs.
