If you want to use ContactPad in any of your Salesforce Lightning Experience apps, you must add ContactPad to those apps.

Compatibility mode

Ensure that Vonage Contact Center is compatible with Salesforce Lightning Experience. For information about enabling Vonage Contact Center to work in Salesforce Lightning Experience, seeĀ Enabling Vonage Contact Center to work in Salesforce Classic, Salesforce Lightning Experience, or both.

To add ContactPad to Lightning apps, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to App Manager within Setup in Salesforce.
  2. Locate the Lightning app you want to add ContactPad to, click the arrow on the right-hand side and click Edit. Edit App appears.

  3. Click UTILITY BAR and then click Add. A new drop-down will appear.
  4. Click Open CTI Softphone. Choose a label and icon. Set the panel to 202px by 440px and click Save.

  5. Click Save and then click Done.

When you go to the app, ContactPad appears in the lower-left corner.
