Upgrading from a version of Vonage Premier for Service Cloud Voice earlier than 23.115

After upgrading from Vonage for Service Cloud Voice from a version earlier than 23.115, you need to perform some additionals.

Vonage Contact Center Core Components

Versions of Vonage Contact Center for Salesforce greater than or equal to 23.115 now depend on a new common package called Vonage Contact Center Core Components. You should perform these tasks after installing Vonage Contact Center Core Components, Vonage Contact Center for Salesforce, and Vonage Service Cloud Voice. For information, about installing these packages, see Installing or upgrading the latest version of Vonage Contact Center Core Components into SalesforceUpgrading to the latest version of Vonage Contact Center in Salesforce, and Upgrading to the latest version of Vonage Premier for Service Cloud Voice.

(Optional) Uninstall Vonage Contact Center for Salesforce

When you have installed and upgraded the packages as described, if you no longer require Vonage Contact Center for Salesforce, you can uninstall it. 

Migrating custom settings for automatic call recording or automatic callback numbers

When you upgrade from a version of Vonage for Service Cloud Voice earlier than 23.115, you need to manually migrate your custom settings if you use automatic call recording or automatic callback numbers. If you do not use these features, you don't need to take any action.

Recreate your configuration for these features in the new custom settings. For information about configuring these features, see Configuring automatic call recording and callback numbers with Vonage Premier for Service Cloud Voice.

Permission set changes

Apply new permission sets to any users using automatic call recording or automatic callback numbers.
