How the login experience has changed

In this page

Previous login screen

Previously, when you logged in to ContactPad, Vonage for Service Cloud Voice, or the admin portal, from within another application, such as Salesforce, you would see one of the following screens. The exact login screen layout depended on your login configuration and whether ContactPad, Vonage for Service Cloud Voice, or the admin portal had been embedded.

For users of Vonage Premier for Service Cloud Voice, a login screen was visible only on the first login or if the silent authentication between Salesforce and Vonage fails.

Updated login flow

Now, your embedded login screen looks similar to those shown below.

For users of Vonage Premier for Service Cloud Voice, a login screen is visible only on the first login or if the silent authentication between Salesforce and Vonage fails.

When you click either Log in or your chosen single sign-on (SSO) provider — such as Microsoft or Salesforce — a separate login window appears.

Upon successful login, the separate window is closed and you are logged in.

Updated logout flow

When you log out of VCC a small popup window opens, and closes immediately. This ensures you are fully logged out of VCC. You can ignore this popup.

Popups may be blocked in your browser. If you see an icon similar to this in the browser address bar, click the icon, and then click to allow popups. You only need to perform this action once.
